choosing the Best Gaming Laptops in 2021 is the Asus ROG Zephyrus G15. It can handle the most competitive games on the market today and also make it a good everyday driver.
In the early days of mobile games, they replaced desktop – clunky chassis, multi-power bricks, and RGB light galore. But high-end gaming laptops are now different. Manufacturers finally incorporate powerful specs into sleeker, portable, and more sophisticated constructions. They have the best, most refreshing screens needed for a great sports experience. These laptops are not only great for playing, but also for everyday work.
We will be updating this page regularly as new laptop gaming models hit the shelves throughout the year. Some exciting updates are on the way. AMD and Nvidia have announced their next series of mobile apps and mobile graphics cards – the Ryzen 5000 series and the GeForce RTX 3000 series, respectively – and are already seeing them on premium gaming laptops for all manufacturers. The Intel’s Tiger Lake H series is also on the way, however, we expect to see ourselves more often in lightweight models.
The QHD screen is another feature to look at for the best gaming laptops. A growing number of manufacturers are offering configurations for 1440p displays, or for less than $ 2,000 gaming laptops. These options can hit a good spot for most players: a better experience than 1080p without the premium price or the blue horsepower required for 4K display. You can expect high refresh rates from these panels as well, depending on the model. The upcoming Razer Blade 15, for example, will offer a 240Hz panel with QHD resolution.
Another thing to keep in mind is the beautiful power laptops you can expect. Not all chips with the same name are created equal – the RTX 3070 on one laptop may not deliver the same frame rates as the RTX 3070 on another portable computer due to its water (and other features such as processor and cooling). Nvidia now requires companies to introduce clock restrictions and graphic power on each model product page, but many manufacturers have not yet done so. Your best bet, if you can’t find those numbers on the company’s website, read some reviews and make sure the model you’re considering will bring out the frame rates you want. We will see how water is used in any of the laptops we review with the new RTX graphics cards.

ROG Zephyrus G15 Ultra Slim
Best Gaming Laptops in 2021
Asus’ ROG Zephyrus G14 was our top choice for laptop gaming. It did almost everything right, and we were not sure that Asus would ever repeat its amazing success. But somehow, the company has managed to make the G14 just bigger, and much better. In doing so, it created the ROG Zephyrus G15, the best 15-inch rig you can buy.
With just over four pounds, the Zephyrus G15 is one of the simplest 15-inch gaming laptops you can buy. But it does not make any concessions to the performance of this carrier: it is powered by the high-end mobile components provided by AMD and Nvidia and features a 165Hz QHD (1440p) fast display. Together, those things can handle even the most difficult AAA topics in resolving QHD. The panel has excellent color reproduction, so your games will look great.
But they are not just games; almost everything else about the G15 is good, too. Audio (pumped from a six-speaker list) has sound bass and bass, keyboard and touchpad with satisfying clicks, port options leave unattended, and the battery can last eight and a half hours.
The G15 will not be everyone’s laptop. There is no webcam, which is a remarkable watch, and some may choose something less expensive, or with the beauty of a flashier. But as a package, the G15 is the one that will hit. Not only is it the best gaming laptop you can buy, but it is also one of the best laptops you can buy, time.
ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 14″
The ROG Zephyrus G14 is the greatest 14-inch Gaming laptop you can purchase. We recently updated last year’s model, which includes the AMD’s Ryzen 4000 series up to the core of the Ryzen 9 4900HS and the Nvidia RTX 2060 GPU. There’s a brand new version coming out with the Ryzen 5000 series and Nvidia’s RTX 30-series graphics, which we look forward to getting our hands on ASAP.
For less than $ 2,000, Zephyrus presses one of the most powerful processors on the market into a large 14-inch portable chassis. With the cooling you can start with, the laptop brings the frame rates we have never seen on a portable computer of this size before. It hosted all the games we threw without breaking a sweat.
But in addition to its excellent athletic performance, the G14 makes for an excellent everyday pilot. The keyboard, touchpad, display, and hole selection are all excellent. Even battery life is good – something we can never say about gaming laptops.
There is a slight drop in G14, but it is very small and dependent on users. The most important note is that it does not have a webcam; you will need an external one if you plan to make video calls. There’s also bleeding in the backlight, no Thunderbolt connections (as it’s the AMD system, and that’s the Intel standard), and fans can go up a lot more than most under load. But this is a very high profile that will not have a significant impact on people’s experience in the sport. All in all, we have very few complaints.
ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 14″
The ROG Zephyrus G14 is a very powerful gaming computer. The AMD Ryzen 9 and RTX 2060 Max-Q processor can compress powerful, smooth graphics performance in games with its refreshing 120Hz display, while performing surprisingly well on other functions.
The Blade Pro 17 is a fabulous gaming laptop with a thick and engaging design.
The Blade Pro 17 delivers the best gaming performance you can find on a laptop – but that doesn’t have much of its power. What makes the Razer 17-inch flagship so impressive is that its incredible power packs into a small and attractive chassis. It is only 0.8 inches in size and you need one charging brick – so you can carry a backpack or bag in your bag without compromising on power.
Game enthusiasts can choose a model with a 300Hz screen – the highest rate of refreshment you can find on a laptop – while people who want to combine games with a particular art form can opt for a 120Hz touch screen configuration. Both models come with a custom RGB keyboard, adding color touches to the Pro design without much attention to the office.
The Blade Pro 17 isn’t really cheap, but it’s a laptop you can buy if you want the best.
Blade 15 Advanced is Razer’s best midsize gaming computer. It has a much more powerful processor than the base Blade 15, higher-end GPU options, and a smaller design. You can get it with a 4K OLED touch screen or 300Hz 1080p display, but critical gamers will want a 300Hz model.
The Blade 15 is not as powerful as its 17-inch counterpart, but it could be a further purchase for most people. If you want a balanced combination of functionality and versatility, Blade 15 might hit that fun place. It still packs the highest chips on the market and can come with a 300Hz display, but with only 4.7 pounds and 0.7 inches in size, it is about the same size and number of 15-inch production machines as the Dell XPS 15.
In addition to its reliable gaming performance, Blade 15 works well as a production machine. We are a big fan of its keyboard, which is free to use and has individual RGB keys, and a touchpad, open with satisfying clicks. Our main complaint was that this Blade was too hot during our game testing – not only did the processor reach 99 degrees, but the harp and palm rest were uncomfortable to touch.
The Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 is a bright, colorful notebook aimed at sports to play. It is portable and powerful, with an excellent customizable keyboard.
If you want a “traditional” gaming laptop with bright, bright colors, the ROG Strix Scar 15 is for you. Strix Keyboard is not the only one the most comfortable we have ever tested on a gaming laptop; and it has some of the coolest RGB lights we have ever seen with all sorts of effects. There is also a colorful light strap wrapped around the front of the desk (customizable) and a bright logo on the cover. In short: if you use this publicly, people will see.
Well, the Strix is beautiful inside, bringing some of the best frame rates you’ll find on a 15-inch laptop with high-end Intel and Nvidia chips. You will get the full benefit of their power with the 300Hz screen option. And Strix comes pre-loaded with various programs to help customize your gaming experience. You can customize the color profiles, bandwidth sharing, and more depending on the type of game you are playing.
New Alienware Area 51M Gaming Laptop, 17.3″
If space and desk are not your stuff, you may be interested in the Alienware Area-51m. This basic rig is actually a desktop in laptop form. Pairs a desktop-based processor and a full-power GPU with a 17-inch display and a full-size keyboard, which brings real desktop functionality to a portable (portable) portable chassis.
The Alienware-51m area is a portable gaming computer. That’s because it’s not a laptop inside – it uses parts with a desktop section, which can be updated by the user.
PC lovers will also let you know that you can update many items yourself, including processor, RAM, and storage.
Razer Blade Stealth 13 Ultrabook
Blade Stealth is a 13-inch ultrabook that can double as a gaming machine. It can be configured with a different GPU and a higher update display.
Blade Stealth 13 is far from the most powerful gig to play out there, but it is one of the very few gaming systems that comes with a 13-inch chassis. Stealth can use AAA headsets in traditional resolution and comes with a 120Hz screen, but is similar in size and weight to the MacBook Pro. Use it at a meeting or class, and passersby may not realize it is a play laptop.
In addition to its powerful chips, Stealth comes with a colorful keyboard, solid construction, and a decent webcam. Even battery life is very good. If you are looking for a small but powerful laptop, Stealth will have the function done as a gaming machine and a single production machine.
